I have an ASV / Cat skid steer loader. This machine is a track machine. The tracks run off of the same hydraulice motor as everything else. the tracks work fine, the lift works fine, but the bucket tilt will not operate. Two weeks ago I had the cylinders for the tilt, rebuilt. It was working fine. now, it will not move. it just dangles and flops around. I checked for leaks, there aren’t any. I pulled the hoses loose from the tilt and there is a lot of pressure. Should both lines on one cylinder be blowing fluid at the same time? I thought that one would suck while one pushes and when you move the joystick, vice versa. I might be wrong. well, that is why I am asking. Can anybody help me?
If this was the cylinder, it would be one or the other. not both at the same time, huh? I got a little more information. When my operator was using the machine, he had it in a bind up against a root. the bucket popped off of the root and he said it shook the heck out of the machine. that is when it quit working.

Skid Loader (CAT 277) Pilot Controls Not Responding?

I have a 2004 CAT mtl 2600 hrs. Recently, the loader arm control stopped working. A couple times if I turned the CAT off and back on the joystick CONTROLLER will operate the loader arms for a few seconds but then suddenly be unresponsive to any directional movement of the joystick.
